For children in remote Himalayan villages, even basic school supplies — notebooks, pens, textbooks — can be difficult to obtain. The Himalayan Sherpa Family Trust runs regular drives to collect and distribute educational materials directly to students in underserved communities.

What We Distribute

Items distributed include exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, school bags, textbooks aligned to the Nepal curriculum, and supplementary reading material. Each package is assembled with care and distributed directly to students, ensuring fair access.

Reaching the Most Remote

Many of the communities the Trust serves are only accessible on foot — a journey that can take several days. Volunteers and local partners carry supplies by hand and by pack animal to ensure materials reach the most isolated schools.
