Our Story
The Himalayan Sherpa Family Trust was established to continue a lifelong commitment to serving communities, supporting education, and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Himalayas.
For many years, Ang Dawa Sherpa has been actively involved in community development initiatives, educational support programs, and humanitarian activities across Nepal. Through collaborations with national and international friends, volunteers, and supporters, numerous projects have been successfully implemented for the benefit of local communities.
The Trust builds upon these experiences and aims to create a sustainable structure through which future generations can continue supporting those in need.

Providing scholarships, school supplies, clothing, and learning opportunities for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Supporting infrastructure projects that improve the quality of life in remote communities.

The Journey of Ang Dawa Sherpa
The Himalayan Sherpa Family Trust draws inspiration from the extraordinary mountaineering journey of its founder, Ang Dawa Sherpa.
Ang Dawa Sherpa, born in Juving-1, Solukhumbu, is a certified IFMGA/UIAGM International Mountain Guide with over 21 years of experience since 2003. He has summited Mount Everest ten times (3× North Side, 7× South Side), Ama Dablam 6 times, Lhotse twice, Manaslu twice, Cho Oyu twice, and Makalu once. On 16 May 2019, he and his wife set a Guinness World Record for the fastest Everest ascent by a married couple.
His mountaineering career reflects the Sherpa values of determination, courage, teamwork, service, respect for nature, and leadership — the same principles that guide the Trust.
A Book with a Purpose
A personal book documenting experiences from mountaineering, life lessons, cultural heritage, and community service. A significant portion of proceeds will be dedicated to supporting the Trust's charitable programs — funding children's education, scholarships, school improvements, community development, and cultural preservation.
